According to former chief Chinese Googler, Lee Kai-fu, who apparently is well connected with Apple manufacturing partner Foxconn, the upcoming iTablet/iSlate looks like a giant iPhone with:

iSlate seems solid but might not (or never) be used, while apple.com/ichatmobile was a bust, so where does iGuide fit in? Says MacRumors:

UPDATED: Yeah, looks like Apple set up a simple redirect from apple.com/ichat[anything]to the main iChat page. Sigh. We still want it.
ORIGINAL: No sooner did iSlate.com surface than 9to5mac has noted that http://apple.com/ichatmobile doesn’t return a “page not found” error, but rather redirects to Apple’s iChat for Mac OS X.

Following up MacRumors discovery of the iSlate.com domain name yesterday, TechCrunch dug a little deeper and found more to support the iSlate guestimation, and now MacRumors is back again with another trademark — Magic Slate.

AppleInsider has come across an interesting patent from Apple, titled “Keystroke Tactility Arrangement on a Smooth Touch Surface that details a multi-touch tactile keyboard for an iTablet-like device:
