iPhone

Apple CEO, Steve Jobs introduced the original iPhone (now known as the iPhone 2G) and the iPhone 1.0 operating system in 2007, and it’s elegant, easy-to-use multitouch interface revolutionized the smartphone. The iPhone 3G followed in 2008 and brought with it iPhone 2.0, MobileMe, and most importantly — redefined mobile applications with the iTunes App Store. The 2009 iPhone 3GS doubled the speed, and iPhone 3.0 rounded out the feature set and added interactive accessories to the mix. If Apple holds true to pattern, iPhone 4.0 should be put into beta in March of 2010, with a 4th generation iPhone to follow in July.
