When Should You Buy: July Good, May Bad

So, if it’s June or July and people are lined up outside your local Apple Retail Store, and all you hear about on TV or read on blogs is that Apple is releasing a hot new iPhone, then it’s prime time. Buy with abandon and enjoy your new, cutting edge iPhone for the year to come.

If, however, it’s growing late in April or May, and you can wait, you should. iPhone stocks usually dwindle during the late spring/early summer anyway, as Apple cuts production and tries to clear the old stock out for the new. That’s a clear sign a new iPhone is on the way.
