How to apply invisibleSHIELD full body to your iPad [Sponsored]
This time we’re looking at the invisibleSHIELD full body for iPad which offers both top-side glass and bottom-side aluminum film protection. If you worry just as much about scratches on the back of your precious iPad as you do the front, full body is something to consider.
This is how I installed it.
- Clean my iPad screen thoroughly (I use iKlenz)
- Apply the liquid to my fingers
- Peel off the screen film and apply liquid to the back
- Place the skin carefully on my iPad
- Squeegee out excess liquid, carefully blotting to keep it away from water sensors
- Press out any remaining bubbles
- Turn it over
- Repeat the same procedure but the curved back can be tricky so go slowly and restart if you have to.
I use a big squeegee for the initial pass, the supplied smaller one for the details. I also made sure to put my iPad on a non-slip mat first so I don’t have to chase it around the table. (Basically what I did for the iPhone screen protector how-to, a little more conservative than Dieter’s approach).

Is it just me that I do not want any kind of spray or liquid anywhere near my iDevice? I have visions of tiny amounts of solution seeping around the home button… What are the advantages of the wet-applied films?
Personally I have had great results with the Case-mate dry films on my iPhone. Properly aligned it is invisible and pretty damn scratch resistant.

After the awful experience I had with the Zagg invisible shield for my iPhone 4, I don’t I’ll every consider another Zagg product ever again. Especially not a product that requires my device to come into contact of a liquid.
Ugh, sometimes I hate the iPhone spell checker. I meant to say, “I doubt I’ll ever consider another Zagg product ever again”.
I don’t like Zagg products either, after bad luck with the iphone 3g and Best Buy installing on my iphone 4 which they soak the phone, I took it off about a day later. I don’t like the plastic feeling. I did however leave the back on my phone 4.

I always recommend applying it to the back of the device first so you know what to expect when applying it to the front.
Your video does not play on iPhone. Not a great sales tool.
I tried dry apply zagg for ip4. FAIL. u have one chance to get it on straight. I didnt and att wouldnt refund my $$. Att exchanged it and i had to drive to another att store to return it.
can others watch the video in your iPad? I can’t.
