AT&T has the best service and network hands down.

Why do EXTREMELY few people feel that way?

Facts are, Verizon has 5 TIMES more 3G coverage than AT&T.

Why do you think Verizon will remove all those features from the iphone... when they removed NOTHING from the Droid?

Verizon wants the iphone extremely badly... so that it WON'T sell very many of them?

AT&T has the best service and network hands down. I have had Verizon and i have friends that currently have Verizon and their network/data is a joke. AT&T may have some dropped calls here and there but everyone does. When you have a phone sucking as much Data from the network as an iPhone you are bound to have issues. People make the mistake thinking a mobile network can handle things like a Terrestrial Network and it just cant. Verizon’s Data is slow, their phones are junk and with the attitude they have coped reguarding the Android phones i doubt we would see an iPhone with them anytime at all. Maybe T-mobile can get an iPhone and people can run over there to avoid “evil AT&T” and realize that running an iPhone on their lousy network is way worse than anything they experienced at AT&T.

Let’s look at the facts: Verizon has a much better network hands down over AT&T. The fact that AT&T took a shot with the Iphone was most likely the only thing that kept AT&T as a major player in the cell phone market. Verizon made a poor choice and is suffereing for it. However – if anyone thinks that the new Google phone, “Droid” is the anti Iphone and that it will keep Apple from selling phones with Verizon is big mistake. What has Apple got to lose? They could easily double their market share in phone sales (Why would Apple stockholders not like this???)and Verizon would become greater still. Who loses here?

@ macboy A data plan is going to be required for all smart phones and dumb phones alike very soon by AT&T and Verizon and they're the same price on both carriers. Actually its $15 cheaper on a blackberry if you don't have a business email. Also, 7 years ago?? What rock have you been hiding under? Net out dude.

@ Gino I know what typing is like on the iphone. I HAD one. The typing experience is great and probably the best of any other touchscreen phone on the market. I never said it was bad. But I like buttons. If the iphone came to Verizon I'd have the best of both worlds! As far as AT&T,Screw em.

The bullcrap about cripplin the phones for wifi in order to get people to pay for a data plan is full o **** too. Data plan is REQUIRED for all Blackberry’s.

"Was a Verizon customer – left for the iPhone just a month ago – live in Milwaukee (Wisconsin USA) and no issues yet with coverage or use of my 3Gs. Agree with the assessment that Verizon would cripple the iPhone and add cost to the end user. Face it – the ONE THING Verizon has over ALL of the other carriers is coverage. That is it. And compared to ALL of the other carriers – you pay a premium for that. They are known for the most expensive plans and continue to lock down as much as they possibly can. Not for me – I like that Apple maintains more control over their iPhone (as they do the MAC) moreso than the carrier. Imagine if your internet service provider didn’t allow you to use goggle maps but instead charged you extra to use their propriety mapping service? I know – it sounds silly, but that is what Verizon does."

I have a Blackberry Storm. It's a Verizon Wireless Phone. I use Google Maps all the time.
