Apple will gladly sacrifice the possible iTunes profits from Palm Pre users without a hitch. Why? If the Pre cant sync with iTunes, the so called “iPhone Killer” becomes nothing more than a Samsung behold with a better screen. Steve Jobs is losing a little in the iTunes department but protecting the iPhone from competition, not that there is any competition anyway.

man who gives a **** what palm does. who doesn’t try and hack into itunes. i can use itunes with my sanyo so whats the big deal? you still have to have an account to buy music and everyone knows ipods are the ******* best **** you can get anyway. although its quite pricey. apple doesn’t give a **** if theyre making money from pre users. so you guys that are on apples side in the moral sense should wake the **** up and realise that apple wants your money as much as anyone elses. and suck my ****.

you all saying what palm did was wrong need to remeber apple violated copy rights palm had for their iPhone. Not to mention that if apple tries to go to court palm could nail them for propreitary violations. Same deal that ms got pegged for on ms office. Oh, palms first update has a rebuttle for apple now ore users can sync again LOL. As for the guy sprint customers ‘are cheap’ think again dumbass. At&t’s network is horrible along with their outrageously over priced phone plans just to have an iPhone. Thanks but no thanks. – ex iphone user

Apple is obviously more interested in the sales of their devices than itunes. With itunes, part of the profit goes to the artists, app producers etc but with devices they gain 100% of the profit.

I think denying Palm Pre users access to itunes will definitely affect a consumer's decision over an iphone or a palm, Both phones have similar features so it could be the one thing that makes a person choose an iphone over the palm.
