Round Robin: Treo Jennifer Video Previews the iPhone 3G

TreoCentral’s Jennifer has our iPhone 3G this week. She gave away her original iPhone 2G to her mom and got herself an iPod Touch, but the lure of the 3G actually encouraged her to get herself a brand new iPhone this year. How does this year’s only full touch Round Robin smartphone stack up for the lady who’s used to touch and a front facing Qwerty?

Dude, her accent is easy to understand. Reminds me of when they subtitle British/Scottish people on US TV. Crazy.
Listen better, and the variety of accents then becomes a very welcome addition to otherwise dreary monotony.
Agreed on the great preview part. But Jennifer really needs 3G!

Her accent is a heavy but i didn’t have problem understanding her. I guess living in NYC helps with all the different accents we deal with here most of our ear have a better ability to tune & understand various accents. Compared to what I’m use to dealing with she virtually has no accent haha. Great review by the way!

In one of her earlier videos she admitted to buying a 3g before the round robin began, but didn’t have a chance to touch it because of it.

As a Treo to iPhone convert, I admit that I’m enjoying my iPhone much more than my Treo 650… now if they could only get native cut-and-paste on it.

It’s funny… I went through the same thing she did. I had the iPhone, then moved on and was thinking about getting something new. Then I started missing my iPhone because of all the fun things it can do (EASILY).

I thought the review was a little lacking in the sense that she didn’t really provide a treo user’s take on the experience. I would have expected, as many of the other round robin participants have, for her to compare it to her preferred platform. This video didn’t make any references to the differences between platforms. Just my 2 cents.

I agree with Joost. Everything I liked about my Treo 680, the iPhone does better. Well, there were a couple of games I am still waiting for, but everything else.
